Wall-Mounted Jib Crane

Pillar-Mounted Jib Crane

Explosion Proof Technology

* Cranes and components by Konecranes are designed to meet the new ATEX Directives adopted by the European Union.    These directives became mandatory in Europe in of July, 2003.
* Konecranes products comply with European explosion proof standards EN50 014 to EN50 020.
* The products meet hazardous area requirements for Category 2 & 3 (previously Zones 1 & 2) applications.
* Explosion proof classification complies with EEx de IIB T4 as standard, EEx de IIC T4 upon request. Mobile pendant      stations meet always higher classification EEx de IIC T6.
* Protection method, flameproof enclosure "d," and increased safety "e," provide maximum safety operation in explosion    sensitive areas.
* Spark proofing features such as bronze coated hooks and bronze traveling wheels are available upon request.

CXT Explosion Proof Cranes

Explosion Proof Cranes by Konecranes cover ranges from low capacity jib cranes to high capacity double girder process cranes. Explosion proof industrial cranes are available in single and double girder construction using profile or fabricated box girder design. Different main girder connections are used to tailor the crane to exactly meet the individual application requirements.
